Never dawned on me till now but because of the soft launch system it doesn't light up the night sky when fired like after system.

It would be interesting to know as if it’s 2x sea ceptor per target, even for crude drones as 32x becomes 16x targets and there is no 57mm/40mm or Phalanx in reserve.

One of the comments on the video from a warfare officer was some of the bangs were counter measures being fired.

Yes the contrast between Sea Ceptor on T23 and Aster on FREMM is interesting in the video\pictures released. Sea Ceptor looks like nothings happening apart from the noise, Aster the bridge team are all ducking, shielding their eyes or turning away from the whiteout outside the bridge windows.

It's difficult to tell as due to the darkness you can't se the cuts in the video. Richmond doesn't have anything else apart from Sea Ceptor, 4.5 and small arms. Did the3 launch any decoys\chaff\flares?

4.5 is useless for anti-air and Richmond has 30mm doesn't she?

It’s hard to tell but the first and last bang in the video you can see the puff of smoke from the sea ceptor soft launching the middle three there doesn’t appear to be anything similar. Comments on the video said decoys but no idea if true.

Given the potential volume of drones would it be possible / advisable to embark a couple of Starstreak teams? Just to give that extra layer.
