Limpet mine; torpedo; someone moving around 'mysteriously' in fast boats before the scene 'taking off'?
- or the last 24 hrs of Bibi Netanyahu in the office (would be/ have been a fair retaliation for the past deeds against civilian shipping)

These new fast boats and drones are the modern E boats and doddle bugs there not meant for toe to toe combat it is all about hit and run and striking undefended ships in the Gulf meaning the West need more kit to combat the threat

For me Type 23 GP is looking under armed for this new threat in the Gulf yes it has 32 CAMM but the 30mm is starting to look out ranged plus no anti air maybe it is time to fit a Phalanx on the Gulf based T-23

It must be either these or versions there of that they have been firing into iraq and saudi, and attacking shipping with so is that not combat.

I have always wondered why when the Sea Wolf associated radars were removed from the T-23s, it wasn't decided to fit a single Phalanx on top of the hanger? Not a perfect solution but better than nothing.

It's usually been put down to topweight issues, but that might be a red herring
