Fuck them. Of all the middle eastern shitholes I've been to, Oman and the Omanis is by far the nicest country and friendliest people.

I am sure they enjoy not being part of the state (and its current turmoil) to the West of them. They tried annexation by fomenting insurgency and as we know British help was available to counter that
- btw, the few people that inhabit Socotra would like to leave that state West of Oman... should we offer some help by refurbishing the old Soviet-era navy base? India might be happy to oblige and join in; I think they have made overtures to the Seychelles
