Sounds like nothing to worry about then.

So 2 Para battle group were in North Macedonia in mid 2022 and now they are in Norway in early 2023

I wonder when it'll bottom out.

Have to say it is the same old top brass saying nothing and pushing through cuts when in post and then being handed there backbone back when they de-mob no one ever calls them out that they were part of the problem

I can only speak as I saw it and there was some big building programs going on for junior ranks at Wattisham , Honington , Wittering , Cottesmore , Benson

I'm sure a fair few SLAM blocks were built, but it's only one part of the infrastructure problems which is itself only problem of quite a few.

I would agree there was some way to go. But at Wattisham the works were well on the way with new messes for the Junior ranks and SNCO's there was a new deep maintenance building a new families centre and day care unit 2/3's of the HAS shelters had been upgraded the two main hangars and workshops had been upgraded there new Regiment HQ's and they were setting out on family quarters the last time I was there

I'm about to climb into the first "narco-sub" known to have brought cocaine from South America to Europe.

It's 20 metres (65 ft) long, built out of fibreglass and - remarkably - homemade.

A source said that any movement of troops and military equipment should be seen in the context of careful planning in case required.

The UK could launch its own evacuation mission or join any multinational effort, depending on the level of risk that government ministers were willing to take given that it would involve deploying military forces into a country where active fighting is taking place.

Among the assets available are bigger and smaller transport planes, as well as helicopters.

The UK is beginning a "large-scale" complex evacuation of British people from Sudan, PM Rishi Sunak has said.

RAF flights will be leaving from an airfield outside the capital Khartoum with seats given on a priority basis.

Rival military factions agreed to a 72-hour ceasefire from Monday night in the country, where at least 400 people have been killed in fighting since 15 April.

Families with children, the elderly and people with medical conditions will be prioritised.

Would note right hand VSHORAD pic shows the RADA MHR radar with its four fixed panel arrays for 360 degree coverage as used on the US Army M-SHORAD (144x).
Think possibly/guessing would have been less expensive option for the Army C-UAS than the 1X, the 1X would be a big plus for the T31

Simple question: Is the Royal Navy receiving a dividend for major export successes for UK PLC?

If so how can the Army and RAF replicate this success and what other RN programs could ultimately be structured to achieve a similar result?
